Strategies for Personal and Professional Success Workshop
Planned in cooperation with the ASHP Pharmacy Student Forum

Be inspired and motivated to take action in achieving your  personal and professional career goals. Panelists of pharmacy leaders will  provide examples of how to successfully learn and incorporate skills including  work-life integration, emotional intelligence, self-assessment, and  mentor-coach-sponsor relationships.

Teamwork: A Key to Effective Leadership
Planned in cooperation with the ASHP Pharmacy Student Forum

This session will provide an overview of teamwork and effective communication, with an opportunity for hands on activities. You will work closely with other student pharmacists and hone your leadership skills in a fun environment. This session will help you develop your skills in active listening, communication, and problem solving.

The session will provide an overview of the components of political advocacy as well as background on key issues affecting pharmacy students. You’ll get details on current legislation and learn what you, and your SSHP, can do to build support for these issues.
